Synchronized Wallpaper was created during the height of pandemic isolation and virtual classes to imply a virtual presence and passage of time in an enclosed environment. Whenever a person leaves or enters a webcam frame, the projected color changes, a subtle indicator the continuing activities of the world around us. This project was carried out using Processing and face detection to send a GET request. Webhoooks in IFTTT sent a random value to Google Sheets, which uses a conditional statement to determine what color to project.
